The - pumping dry of a part of the Bruges-Zeebrugge Canal has laid bare some interesting war secrets. Eight openings under a bomb-proof shelter formed entrances for U-boats, and a German submarine, 00 or 60 live shells, •> mines, and debris, have beeu found in the canal. No bodies have been disjovcred.
