CITY COUNCIL.
TO-MOBEOW'S ELECTION'.
The election to fill the vacancy on the City Council, caused by the death of Cr. Nicholls, will take place to morrow. Tho election }s for one councillor for the Central Ward. The candidates are Messrs Richard Hoppy, Christopher lienn, and Edgar Fraser Stead.
The polling honrs will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and booths will bo situated at the Art Gajlery, Tramway shelter in Cathedral square, St. John's schoolroom, Madras street, the Foresters' Hall, Oxford terrace, St. Michael's schoolroom, Durham street, Hibernian Hall, Barbadoes street, Knox schoolroom, Bealev avenue, marquee, corner Madras and Aberdeen streets, and Methodist schoolroom, Stanmoro road.
