« CHRISTCHUECH CLUB. The final for the Islington Cup was player! on Saturday afternoon. Miss D. Anderson and L. Bonnington, 2 down, being the winners. In th-9 semi-final for the Denniaton Cup, Tosawill beat 'WoodrofCe, 1 up. HAGLEY CLUB. The first monthly medal matches were played on Saturday aftexnoon. In tho senior match. J. Wyn Irwin 89-16-73 and L. Pegler 851-17-73 led for first place, whilst C. F. Gordon 83-14-74 was third. In the junior match S. D. MacfaTlaiK 1 97-24-73 was first and L. Bicknoll 101-24-77 second. KAIAPOI CLUB. Playing for the Leithead Trophy on Saturday afternoon the following were tho best cards returned:—L. Parnham; S7-15-7J; L. B. Evans, 85-8-77; A. E. Brown, 93-15-78.
