IT is hereby PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Chrifftchurcli City Council desires to obtain, the consent of the Ratepayers of the City of Christchurch to the raising: of a Special Loan of SIXTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS (£16,0D0). (a) The particular purpose for which the Loan is required is the purchase of the property Eituate in Manchester street, City of Christchurch, and owned by the Canterbury Hall Company, Limited, to be used for Municipal purpoees. (c) The proposed security for each proposed Loan and providing a sinking fnnd in respect thereof is a Special Bale of One Twenty.siecond (l-22nd) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable "value the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch.
