There has also been fightin;: at Alexandretta and other places 'along tho Jino of demarcation of tho French zono of occupation. A National Defenco Committco has been formed at Damascus for enforcing compulsory military service on everybody. Tho committee has issued a manifesto against all foreign intervention. Women aro enrolling as combatants.
