A yonng single woman named Emily ITclon ISrittain Ilewett, £G years of age, residing at 22 Mayfair street, Lower Kircarton, was found hanging jn an outhouse on tho premises ye-:tcrd;iY afternoon. About 1 o'clock her mother went out, asking the deceased lo go with lior, but as do: eased complained of feeling nmvoll. *he der-lined to do so. On returning, about 4.20 o'clock, her mother found her hanging, as stated, quite dead. The defeased, it i.-, said, had never properly rcoverod from a severe attack of influenza during tin: epidemic.
