Tlio Supreme Council lins granted Roumanin six days' prolongation of the tirnrio allowed for a reply to th» Allied Note. A mes<mge from Paris on November 30 th said: Tho Allied ultimatum to Roumania emphasises the patienco which tho Allies hnvo shown towards Roumania, and poiriits out that but for the immense sncrilres mndo by the Allies Roumania would now bo ruined and hojvf-lossV enslaved. It invites Roumania to take tbo following steps, unconditionally:—Firstly —To evacuate Hungary entirely, retiring behind the frontiers fixed by the Peace Conference. See-ndly—To accept the formation of an inter-Allied Commission to deal with the Roumanian requisitions in Hungary. Thirdly—'To sum the Austrian Treaty irith the minorities clause on the conditions in tho Supreme Council's Note on October 12th. Fp.ilin cr a satisfactory reply by Decomber 2nd, the Allies -will regretfully break relations with Roumania.
