Hungarians, Saxons, nnd Roumanians offected a coup de main at Hcrmannsstndt. The Transylvnnian Senate, which favoured Roumnninn annexation, was replaced by a Senate favouring autonomy, whereupon Roumania proclaimed martial law, and arrested the lenders of the movement.
