At the annual meeting of (he XoTobaoco Leaguo of America, held at Brooklyn, Indiana, recently, the report of the secretary stated tluit the work of organisation, had been forwarded and many State or district representatives appointed. These inen are going into all tho schools, besides doing a large amount of publicity and educational work among the people. Addresses were given at tho convention by clerical and other speakers urging tho necessity for tobacco reform. The tense of the meeting was that a constructive educational programme should be carried oat, aiming to securc, through tho education nf tlu> young in particular, the elimination of the tobacco habit.
