Ninety-Boron cases of influenza ivere notified in tho Auckland Health District during the week ended at noon todav, together with twenty case 3of pneumonia. For tho forty-oight hours ended a* noon to-day, twenty eases of influenza wore notified, twelve being in the city; also six cases of pneumonia, including throo Natircs in tho Bay of Plenty. The Federal quarantine authorities, commenting nnon tho Now Zealand lion 1 tli authorities' cable message that tho outbreak of influenza is of a mild nature, deprecate tho idea of a recrudesconco of the epidoinic there, and say thero is no reason for assuming that another serious outbreak will occur hero next year.
