» rABE WELL VISITS. (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) NELSON, November 29. The Governor-General, the Countess of Liverpool, and suite arrived hero on a farewell visit this morning. A holiday was observed during the morning and a very largo gathering of citizens attended a civic welcome at the church steps. Lord Liverpool's party afterwards made a round of visits to the colleges and other institutions, and were entertained at luncheon by the City Council. Rain in tho afternoon necessitated the abandonment of n projected motor run through tho ' orchard districts and receptions at tho ; country centres. Tho Governor-General wiil pay a visit to tho West Coast Sounds, and is expected to arrive in Invercargill I r.est Friday. On the morning of Tuesday, 'Jth ii:st.. his Kscellcncy . will go on to Christchurch, and remain there for some time.
