SPEECH AT QUEENSTOWN.
(SPECIAL TO "TTTK TOBSS.") QUEEXSTO v7>T, November 28. Addressing a public meeting here tonight, Mr Massey said he had received a request from Vancouver for a supply of sugar. He did not think New Zealand would bo able to comply with tho request. They were not short in the Dominion yet. though ho did not like the outlook, and he would be glad if lie eculd r.enow the contract with the Colonial Sugar Company at £23 13s per ton. ' One reason why lie was touring tho country was to oppose tho rising tide of Bolshevism. He did not acknowledge that the Parliamentary Labour Party represented Labour, because to say_ so ;, ,voukl be to sny that the labouring classcs were disloyal, and they were not so, for they had dono their part nobly in the war. Ho would not remain in office fivo minutes if his remaining depended on the support of the Parliamentary Labour Party. Dealing with the American Moat Trust, Mr Massey said it was undoubtedly operating here,-but under another name. _ He believed that under the legislation of last session, this country would be ablo to check the trust. It would be a black day for New Zealand if the time over came when that trust i became established here. 0 !
