PROFITEERING.
CHEMISTS CHARGED. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyrieit.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, November 8. The King's Bench refused a writ to prohibit tho continuance of profiteering proceedings in the case of two chemists, the first of whom .charged os 6d and the second 3s _4d for preparing the same prescription. The Chief Justice rejected the argument that a chemist was entitled to charge for skilled services. Undoubtedly skill was required for making any sort of sale. If the argument were admitted the Profiteering Act would be valueless.
