A DENTIST'S APPRECIATION.
A well-known Wellington dentist (name available on application) warmly praises Q-tol as an ideal skin emollient for keeping the hands clean'and s upple. He has for some time past been recommending Fluenzol as an antiseptic mouth-wash after extractions. Q-tol and Fluenzol formulae are lodged with Health Department. 2
At their place in Stamford Hill Mr and Mrs Philip Gibb gave a garden party the other dav. the "isitors including Cardinal Bourne. Mr Gibbs, like most of the fraternity, is also a good onecdotist. He was once questioned regarding the profits of the average journalist, and remarked that he knew a friend who, twenty years ago, went to Fleet street with twenty-five shillings in his pocket. To-day he is worth £30,000. This appreciable fortune he owed entirely to his own industry, ability, and the high code of morals he had maintained—combined with the fact that a kindly old aunt died recently, leaving him a legacy of £29,999.
