Mr J. C. Adams, who has been acting as chaplain at the Church of England Institute at Rotoraa for the past nine weeks, pending the appointment of a permanent chaplain, has returned w Christchurch.
The recommendation of the Canterbury Eduention Board and the Committee of Advice. that Mr J. G. Poison, at present headmaster of the Belffl® school, bo appointed vice-principal ■, the Normal Training College, Chrijtchurch, has Been approved by the Eaflcntion Department. Mr Young, who originally came from Palmers ton North, studied at Canterbury CoIIMPj where -he graduated for his M.A. degree.
