JAPAN'S NAVY.
NEW CONSTRUCTION. (By CaWo—Pres* Association—Coovriarht.) (Anstrnlian and N.Z. Cablo Association.) (Received August 22nd 9 10 p.m.) TOKIO, August 21. The Navy Department's new .programme includes two three light cruisers, five first-lass and five second-class destroyers, several sul>marines, and n number of gunboats suitable for tho China station. The battlecruisers will be of 40 000 tons each, and embody the latest B itisli improvements. The programme will bo completed in 1023, when the float will inclritte eight modern Dreadnoughts and six battlecruisers.
