The Christcliurcli Hunt, Club has .put on a capital, programme for its-meeting at 1 Riccarton to-day, and it should, bo well' repaid : for its trouble by a great day's racing. The fields promise l to .be gopd, 1 especially in, tho open" races,, and it will cause great surprise; if the club does not have a'record turnover on- the totalisator." The club's patrons,will,be surprised at the • splendid temporary • stand/Mr E. S. Luttrell,has erected in the short time he has had at his disposal,, and ,though it is not as up-to-date as the structure that was destroyed by fire', three short weeks • ago it is just as commodious. , Of. the. horses that are. racing to-day, [Gang Awa, Sonny, 'Gamecock, and Cerberus have, according to their respective all been' doing very fine work. Though there will not be any trains running to the course, the Tramway Board will have 'a special service running to and from the course, where the; first ;race is timed to-be run at 12 noon.
