! S.P.C.A. Tho committee of the Society for the Prevention o£ Cruelty to Animals mot last night. Tho inspector, in his report, mentioned that he had visited several country districts, alflo various stock sales, and had administered ca.uti.ons to people for various o&cnccs. Ha al6o stated that 6overal prosecutions were pending for alleged cruelty to animals. RICHMOND METHODIST BIBLE CLASS. Tho membera of tho Richmond Methodist Young Men's Bible Class spent a very enjoyable evening on Sunday last. After the meeting tea was provided, tho guests bMns the vico-preeidents, Messrs Lenny .md Nichols, members of tho Young Ladies' Bible Class, and the Junior Bible Class. Tho preeident, the Rev. W. Walker, presided ovr the mooting-, and a special service wa6 hold j in .the church.
