Moderate to l strong westerly and southerly winds have prevailed, and the weather has been changeable generally, with passing showers i& the western districts. Present indications ore for southerly winds, veering to westerlies, and then increasing strong to gale. The weather is likely to become warmer temporarily in the East Coast districts, but an unfavourably change may be expected everywhere shortly, and rain soeo. in the "West Coast ond_ southernmost districts.
