Justin Ronayne, a brako inspector on tlio railways was walking along thi> lino near Palmerston station last evening when ho was overtaken by th=> socond Auckland express, which threw him /iff tlio line, breaking one log and fracturing a rib. Ho was tnkon to the bospit.nl, where he is progressing satisfactorily.
