THE HOLIDAY. A\£airly lar£e number of holiday-makers visited Lyttelton yesterday, somo going for harbour excursion® and others paying a riait of inspection to the oversea. and coastal Yeaeels in port. Work on the waterfront was suspended for iho day. and a general holiday was observed in tho town. Most of the veseel» in port wore bedecked with Bunting, THE PICTUBES. A Paramount picture, "Tho Slacker," starTing' Emily Stevens, was presented at the Harbour Light Pictures yesterday afternoon and evening. This picture, supported by the serial. "The Eagle's Eye," will bo repeated to-night. At to-morrow'a 6esfiions Vivian Martin will appear in a drama, "Tho Spirit of Romance."
