Dr. Marshall was with the R.A.M.O. in Palestine, where his health suffered considerably, and it would bo some time, in any case, before he could return to the Islands. Tiio Kev. P. C. "Wvndham Eiireo. vector of Brimpsfield, lias been appoint, u to ihe Rectory of Syde. in Gloucestershire (to be held in plurality). .Mr Earee was vicar of Palnierston from 1896-9". and of Mnstorton from the latter year to 1905, when he returned to England and became curate at- Daveutrv? Two years later he was appointed" lector of Angersleigh, Taunton. Mr G. A. C. Ulrich expects to leave England in a or two to take mi an "appointment as manager's assistant to the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation at Obtiasi, in West Africa. Mr TJli-ich 1 graduated at the Otago School of i Mines, and was for a time engineer at I the Komata Reefs. He joined the British Section of the N.Z-E.F. at Bulj ford, and was recently discharged alter tour years' service.
