RECOGNITION OF SLAVS

Belakun has sent a message to the Czecho-Slovak, Jugo-Slav, and Roumanian Governments, formally recognising their nationalist claimSj and demanding in return that they should leave the Hungarian republic alone and abandon their military operations with a view to entering into peace negotiations. ROUMANIANS ENTER CAPITAL. (Received Mav 7th, 1 a.m.) London, May 7. The Roumanians have entered the suburbs of Budapest, and by now probably occupy the entire city, whence they can operate against the Bolshevists in any direction.
