Tho annual and danco of tho Pacific Club. New Brighton, was held in the Pier Hail on Thu:tfiay evening. There was a large attendance. Advantage was taken of the occasion to welcome homo a -raeuibcr. Rjflenian R. S. P. Hopkins. During the evening items were contributed bv Misses E. Saneom. Whitta. J. Maihiss, M. Otlcy. Mrs Aineley, Messrs Braainc, Rabourne, E. Bay--110:1, and Master Stockdei!. Supper was provided by the club mouibers. Dancing was kfpt uj> till a lato hour. RIDGLEY LODGE. The Ridplcy Lodge. 1.0.0. F., X.Z.. held % social on Wednesday, to commemorate the centenary of tho 1.0.0.F.. A.C. A fair number of members were present, also presentalivce oi the various Christchiirch lodges of the Order, ami ki:;dreil eo .. . r j Addresses were given by Bro. W. Hunter, PG M. and Bro. H. Wilkinson, of the Urnnd Lcdsre office, bo'h of whom spoke on the success of the Order. Bro. J. Clcworth. I 0 0 F M.U., on behalf of the visiting representatives, thanked the Kidgloy Lodge for its invitation, and congratulated the lOOF N.Z., on the strides it had made. Musical' items were given by Mrs Jcrman. Missce Jerman. tapper, Archbold, and Messrs H. Harrington, and L. Shaw. EAST BELT METHODIST CHURCH.
