The watersiders refused to work the Jloeraki at Wellington yesterday until 6 p.m., when they commenced discharging operations. As a precautionary measure two divers have started to make an examination of the whola exterior of the hull. It is expected that the temporary repairs will take about ten- days to complete. The Norwegian Consul (Mr A. W. Newton), as chairman, end Captains Petersen (Wellington), Lindberg (of the barque Titania), and Nystrom (of the ship Transocean), as assessors, held a Consular Court to-day and heard the evidence of tho officers and men on duty at the time of the mishap, and also examined the log book and checked tho ship's course. • From the evidence adduoed, tha Court concluded that tie ship was outBide Chaffer's Passage and did not stop when the rock, was touched.
