(FBZSS association* telegram.') NAPIEB, April 21. Tho annual convention of - tho Women's Christian Temperance Union opened in Napier this morning. A reception was given to the delegates, and the Dominion president suitably ■ replied. Eighty-five delegates answered the roll call. The report of the secretary showed a total of 105 branches with 750 members. The reports of the organisers were read and adopted and showed that much good work had been done. At tho afternoon session Mrs Don delivered the annual presidential address. She reviewed the vear's work, and 6poke of the efforts by_ petition to securo a .referendum, and o£ the etrenucue efforts to carry prohibition.
