If in view of the pronouncement of the Court the parties are unable to agree npon the terms of a now award, the subject can b« reviewed before the Conciliation Council, and, failing an amicable settlement, it can be referred to tlio Court for final adjudication. The wages have been fixed as follows:—Foreman baker or pastrycook, £4 per week: journeyman baker or pastrycook, £3 10s per week; baker's labourer, £3 per wek. .In country bakehouses where only one journeyman is employed, the following wage 3 may be paid:—On an out-turn of 2000 21b loaves per week, £3. 10s per week; 1500 2!b loaves per week, £3 3s per week; 1250 01b loaves per week. £3 per week; under 1250 loaves per week, £2 los per week. An employee on country _ work (work ■which jiece6sitates his lodging elsewhere than at his usual place of residence) is to be conveyed to and from his work at the employers' expense, but once only during the continuance of the work, if it is continuous, and he is not meanwhile recalled by his employer. The extra allowance provided for country work is 3a per day, but the employer has the optiou of providing suitable board and lodging in lieu of the extra payment. Overtime is limited to two hours on other days, or four hours on Saturdays, at the country rate of wages. Suburban work is taken to be that over three miles from the employers' place of business, but still not classed as country work. • In suburban work the employee is either to be allowed one penny per mile each way, or to be conveyed free of charge by the emplo3'er, in which case tho man must be at hi 3 employer's placo of business not later thaji 7i30 a.m. It is required that employers shall find bruehware, except dueter and paperhanger's laying-on brush'.
