ANNUAL PICNIC. ' The annual picnic of tho Ladbrooks District School was held at : New Brighton last week, and was a great success. Tho children were driven to Sockburn in conveyances, an*J then conveyed by' tram to New Bright°n - _ On. their arrival there refreshments were in readiness, and after these had been partaken of tliera commenced sports of all descriptions.
