» PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN. (By Cable.—Proas Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) I NEW YORK, March 8. At the opening of the Republican Presidential campaign for 1920 at St. Paul (Minnesota), Mr Hayes, National Chairman, announced that the Republican policy would be a refusal to accent indefinite internationalism as a substitute for fervent American nationalism. Spealqng at the meeting of the Spreydon Borough Council last evening, the Mayor, Sir W. H. "Winsor, said that for the past seven years he had been connected with the Council,, whilo during the last four years he had been Mayor. He regretted arter his long connexion with the body, that he would not seek re-election either as councillor or Mayor, again.
