Willi* ma was ordered to pay the lnapoctor of Awards £1 for a breach of the North Canterbury Operative Bakes , award in paying a journeyman baker one shilling' per hour instead of £3 10s per week, as required by the award. Defendant pleaded guilty to a technical breach only. Chae. Pugh, the man employed by- Williams, was ordered to pay lOe to the Inspector. RESERVED JUDGMENT. Beserrcd judgment was given by hie 'Worship in the case of Alfred Checkley Menneer v. John Bearman and Leslie Bearman. Plaintiff claimed £82 3s 6d loes alleged to have bem sustained k owing to Leslie Bearmante alleged negligent driving of s> motoroar. His "Worahip held that both parties •were equally culpable. The foiling of each driver wot recklessly negligent. Judgment would be recorded for the defendant with no order aa to costs. ANOTHER COLLISION. The above is another case heard in the Ohristdrarch Court involving claims against motorists on. acoount of collisions. In four of those previously heard the motorists have lost heavily. Already the claims have cost the £1114. £833, £236, , ind £200 and costs. Let ns take the risk, and we will defend your case, and ,if we fail will pay the damages.
