RANGIORA CLUB. The. Rangiora Bowling Club comfnencedi its championship games on Saturday afternoon. The entries ore as follows:—Rinks, even;- pairs, thirteen; single®, eleven. W. Efford has the same rink as last year, but as he has not recovered from his accident, it may be some time before he is able to take part in' any games, which is most unfortuhaio just now, the club being very short of good skips. The following competition games h aTO been played:— Championship Rinka—W. J. Young, W. T. Jordan, W. Wilson, F. Meyers (s) 19 beat H. Boyd, ' C.' H. Hargreaves, J. Marshall, T. W. Ambrose 17, Doubles—W. E. Barton and F. Sharp (s) 24 beat H. Clarke and R. Sinclair 20; Sharp - 27 beat L. Wilson and J. Mackenzie 18; J* McKenzie and C. I. Jennings 29 beat J. Taylor and D. McKay 17. CANTERBURY CLUB. The following competitions have been played:— Champion Singles—Hill 23 v. Ihiggan 11; Burgess 23 v. ilaynard 16; Shearman 20 v. Gray 9. Champion Doubles—Barnett and Shearman 21 v. Davis and Cullen 20. Bowker's Champion Rinks—Dollan, Hagger, Burgess and Kirker 21. v. J. C. Smith, : Moclatfhlanfll J. P. Smith and Hastie 14.
