Mono wad (11.35 p.m.), for Wellington. Kowhai (5.23 p.m.), for Greymouth. SHIPPING NOTES. Tha Monowsi,- which was the ferry steamer from Wellington on Friday night, brought over 800 passengers. She left Lytteltom late on Saturday night for Auckland, via Wellington, Napier, and Gisbome, and the Maori, which had been quarantined in the stream, resumed her place in tho ferry service. The Regnlus will load at Lyttelton to-day /or Wellington, Nelson, and West Coast ports. \ Tho Wakatu will probably reach Lyttelton to-night with cargo from Kaikoura and Wellington. She will leave on the return trip to-morrow evening'. The Breese is cxpectcd here to-day from Duncdin and Timaru, and after discharga will proceed to PJeicin and Wanganui. The Federal and Shire liner Kent left on Saturday- at 1.30 p.m. for Dnnedin, Bluff, and Wellington. Sho should be ready for departure from Wellington about January 18th, for London, vii Panama. The Cygnet sails to-night for Kaikoura and will return to port to-morrow evening. Tho John Anderson will take the LytteltonAkaroa run to-day. The Kamo -will be despatched to-day with general cargo for New Plymouth direct. The American schooner Oakland, which has been laid up for several months at Lyttelton, undergoing repairs, was taken into tho stream on -Saturday, preparatory to departure for-Africa and San Francisco. The collier Kowhai took her departure on Saturday for the West Coaot. Mr S. Hewitt has joined tho W&ipori ns chief officer in place of Mr J. Appleton. Mr X>. Cameron, second offioer, has been replaced by Mr H. Williamson. Mr S. Brown is now radio operator. _ _ Tho arrival at Auckland fro™ Francisco is reported of tho barque Isabel, alter a passage of 61 days.

The Union Company's barquo Dart ford arrived at Vancouver yesterday from Wellington. after a passage of sixty-one days, which believed to bo a record for a sailing 1 weasel. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
