The Canterbury Shipping Co.'o steamer Breeze is expected to return to Lyttelton, on Monday, and will lo4d at this port for Picton and Wanganui. The steamer Putiki, with general cargo from Wellington, is clue at Lyttelton, tomorrow. She will take in cargo here for Wellington, and is expected to sail north on Saturday everting. Mr S. F. Chandler, chief engineer of the, John, haa gone ashore. Mt R. Cornish has joined the same vessel as second engineer. Mr C. Dempster has signed on the Kaitoa as second mate. Captain 0. J. Foster has taken charge of the Navua in place of Captain Doorley. .
