THE CHRISTMAS PARTY,

Th« club rooms of tho Returned SoliliciV Association were gaily 'decorated with bunting and hung with mistletoe and holly yesterday afternoon, when a Christina* tea and entertainment were given. Last Tear Misa K!e:< Cooper and Miss Cox arranged the CUi isluiu* party, and Miss Cooper, who is now in Australia, recently sent a request to her parents to eee that the tea, was again given, »"'• accompanied her request 'with a aubstanlia) donation, which vnu devoted to tfte pur«u.u.o of a large Christmas cake. The tea was ;itovided by tho Women's National liesorfe.

Yesterday's gathering proved to be ono of the- most enjoyable yet held in th<>, club. Quite a hundred, returned men attended, and all spent a really good time from 3 o'clock till e. '

Tho Christmas cake, which was gaily and appropriately decorated, *» cut up and distributed, and after tea Air W. E. Leadky, secretary of the Returned Soldiers' Association, briefly thanked Miss Cooper, Ihe Wonwn'e isational Kwwve, and tlk» Performer*, and expressed the heartfelt appnciation of tho returned men at the entertainment they had receivod.
