AKAROA-WAINUI ROAD BOARD.
A meotin? of the Ak aro a-W a inui Road Board waa held at Duvauchelle on Saturday. Present—Messrs Geo. Armstrong (in the chair), T. W. Wilkins, and R. Pcttigrow. Apologies wore received from Messrs W. "Warner and D. McKay.
Mr G. O'Callaghan, clerk to the Board, who had been in camp for tho past year) wrote in reference to his resumption of duties. The Board decided to confer with the County' Council, for which, body the clerk also acted.
The accounts incurred in connexion with "the recent epidemic were passed, and forwarded to the Hospital Board for approval. The Board's solicitors wcro authorised to make the ncceeeary alterations in the Pound Book so as to comply with the Poundin" Act. °
I. was agreed to pTocure a new -water trough, for the Duvauclicllo Pound.
