The suspension of tne transport of American . troops to Franco, and the release of many steamers employed by the Admiralty, would mean a speedy improvement in the supply of shipping for the transport of toodstuffs, and New Zealand, which h.a<l large accumulations of produce in store, ■would share the benefit.
