L The Tainui is expected hero to-day with general cargo from Wellington, for which port she ia timed to sail on a return voyage to-morrow. i The Orepuki is due at tyttelton to-mor-row with timber from Gieymontb. After 1 discharge she will go into dock for her annual overhaul. . The Government steamer Hinemoa, having been cleaned and painted, came out of dock at I<yttelton yesterday, and sailed on a special trip to the Chatham Islands. The schooner Idly is expected to leave Kaipara to-day on a voyage to Lyttelton with a full load of timber. Sho will load produce and general merchandise hero for the northern port. , _ , , The Canopus is due at Westport to-daf from Timaru to load coal for discharge at this port. The Blackball steamer Ngatoro should complete her loading at Lyttelton to-morrow, when eho.-is expected-to sail for Wellington, and from thence to Grwymbuth. To-day being a publio holiday, work on tho Lyttelton waterfront will be stuepended 'for the day. .
