Bartholomew,, S.M., gkve judgment to-day in a case brought by the Labour Department against AVii ia.u Olds and others, waterside workers, O- maru, who were cha.ged with having participated in a seditious strike by refusing to continue the unloading of coal, from the Kittwsva on July 26th, irfter 10 p.m. Tho Magistrate held that sufficient noticc oi tho intention to work special overtime, i.e., from 10 p.m. to o a.m.. as laid down in the agreement!, had not been given by the employers t-> the Union.
