NEW ZEALAND'S REPRESE TATION. (SPECIAL To "THE FBESfI.") WELLINGTON, November In the House this afternoon Mi . Craigie asked, the Prime Minister if ho would make a statement to the House as to what ho intended to do with regard to Now Zealand's representation at the Peace Conference. "We are doing and have done a great deal in. this war,'' said Mr Craigie, "and I think it is imperative that New Zealand should he represented at the. Peace table. I wish the Prime Minister would make a statement. "I may say that at present I have no information to convey to the Houso on the important subject which has been introduced, for the simple reason that I have received no communication on the matter," replied the _ Prime I Minister. From indications which ap- | peared in the Press cablegrams from day to day it seemed that a peacc conference would be convened at a fairly | early date. He could not express any opinion as to when that date would be. "I have not the slightest doubt | but that New Zealand will be asked to send either one or two representatives to attend the conference when it is arranged," added Mr llnssry. "Upon of the invitation it would bo referred to Cabinet for consideration. ' "When Cabinet had come to a decision would he glad to convey it to the House. ® j
