(PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAMS.) HASTINGS, November 6. Tho insurances on the stocks in connexion with the fire which occurred in Heretaunga street yesterday morning exceed £5000, Messrs Hyde and Hinde being the principal sufferers. The chief insurances are:—Stock, Hyde £800, Hannah and Co. (boot company) £2300 (New Zealand), W. Hinde £405 (Australian Allianco); buildings, Hyde and JHinde's premises £1100 (Phoenix), Armstrong's and Hannah's £500 (Phoenix). Both "buildings are owned by Messrs Knight Bros., Dannevirke, and the occupiers estimate the stock and plant value as follows: —Hyde £2500 (nothing | saved), Armstrong £4000 (paxtially destroyed), Hannah and Co. £3000 (mainly damage by smoke and water). Wolf £200 (nothing saved), Hinde £800 (nothing saved). WELLINGTON, November 6. The insurances in connexion with the fire in Taranaki street last night are:— Wellington Co-operative Box Oompanv, Limited, £8050 on the stock and plant, in the Commercial Union: Millar's Hardwood Company, \£9600 on the stock, buildings, and plant, in the Norwich Union; and Hyman's stock. £600 in the Ocean Company.
