An Italian official message says: — On Sunday tho whole Italian front was moving forward The most formidable of tho Austrian lines have already been passed between tho Astico and the Tonale. Activo progress has been made towards Riva, and Rovereto has been entered. The enemy, hard pressed, is retiring from Pasubio and Col Santo. "We passed Monte Cimpomolon and Monte Vorona. Our advance in the Sugana valley is rapid. Our columns sent to encircle the various centres at Cismoa and Cordcrolo valleys reached their objectives. Our cavalry, impetu- ! ously charging, surrounded and destroyed a body of tho enemy artillery westward of 'J'auriano, taking 300 prisoners and capturing a field battery. Tho i cavaliy also captured prisoners, guns, i and much booty at Spilimbergo. ROME, November 4. An official Italian message says.— We have occupied Rovereto. BRITISH-ITALIAN OFFICIAL MESSAGE. A British-Italian official me6sag<s states: — The Tenth Army has reached the line of Viljotma-Praturlone and the Mcduna river. Eastward of Pordenone the advance continues. The prisoners number 16,000. Tho Forty-eighth Division on tha Asiago Plateau took 470 prisoners and thirteen guns. AUSTRIAN ARMY DESTROYED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association,) (Renter's Telegrams.) LONDON, November 5. An Italian official message states: — The Austro-Hungarian army has been destroyed. It has suffered the heaviest losses and left in our hands 300,000 prisoners and 6000 guns. , SCUTARI OCCUPIED. (Received November 6th, 12.45 a.m.) ROME. November 5. Tho Italians have occupied Scutari. Tho Italians have landed at Hara in Dalmatia.
ITALIANS AT TRIESTE. (Received November 6th, 1.30 a.m.) ROME, November 5. Threo, battalions of Bersaglieri have disembarked at Trieste. The fleet entered with, all flags flying. There was no resistance to the landing. Italian vessels are unloading foodstuffs for the benefit of the population. The Austrian authorities fled some days ago.
