NAVY LEAGUE WAR FUND APPEAL.

What is it that has saved New Zealand and other outlying portions of the Empire in this warP, Tho British Navy. Deeds such as thoso of the Broke and the Swift; or the sealing of Zcobrugge and Ostend, quicken tho r>ulse, but entail the losa of valuable lives, and tho Nary League is asking you to help the dependants of tens of thousands of heroic men who have been lost at sea since August, 1914. This is your debt to and it is your duty—your responsibility —to contribute magnificently, as they have fought and died. The fund is administered by a responsible and - representative committee in London, and donations sent to the office of the Navy League, 119 Worcester street, Christchurch, will Be gratefully acknowledged.
