On October 26th. and 27th very heavy eeas broke over the north epit into the river, and _filled in the channel ecoope'.l through the spit. A motion of sympathy woa passed with Mia H, Harper and family." The Finance Committee reported as follows: —Receipts £23 3s id, bank credit balance £26 10a 3d. It was decidcd to cut another channel through the north epit at the first opportunity.
