A well-attended concert was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Lyttelton, on Saturday evening, in aid o! the Lyttelton Branch of the Red Cross Society. The' entertainment opened with a pianoforte solo by Misa C. Partington, followed. by a concerted voeal number, "My Yokohama Lady." Mrs Partington gave * recitation, and Mr a Sweet sang "Queen of tho Earth." An interesting item was a. dainty pianoforte duet by Misses W. Crabb and C. Partington. Miss N. Leater and Mr C. Sweet sang the duet, "The-River ct creditably,, and, Master H. .Taylor recited "Wipers, or the Sergeant . Speaks."
