At a meeting 'of tlic Women's National Reservo,, Mrs Wood presided over a, good attendance. She emphasised tho fact that arrangements had been made with the Governmont Inspector of Soldiers and Sailors' Graves (Miss Stalham) that the Women's National Reserve Association wouia undertake the care o: tending the groves of soldier 3 and sailors who hod no rclativos in New Zealand, and she was glad to hear tho Christchurch branch of the Association would also undertake tho same work. Mrs Wood thanked Mrs Porter for her interesting and comprehensive address. Mrs Wood informed members that sh9 had received correspondence from Mr J. A. Ifvostielc, of tne National Efficiency Board, regarding the schome for _ demonstrating domestic laboursaving appliances, especially designed for use of women in the country where domestic service was now practically unobtainable. A small committee was formed to wait upon Mr Frostick and learn further details of th* schema. Mrs Wood stated that she had been invited to go to Timaru and form a branch of the Association there, and as soon as possible she would accede to tha request.
