A largely-attended meeting of members of the House of 'Commons, but not including the Labour members, passed a resolution that a return to Party Government during the war or the subsequent "reconstruction period would be a ri&fcion/il disaster. They urged tlie maintenance of the Coalition Government. The Unionist War Committee passed a resolution urging the Government to make* a definite declaration of its economic policy.
