Tho "New York Times" Washington correspondent states:—lt is learned through Latin-American sources that the west coast Republics of South America favour the elimination of German influence from tho Pacific. Diplomatic representatives of various American countries express full approval of the Entente's proposal to deprive Germany of her South Sea and Asiatic possessions, thus preventing the renewal of the German Pacific menace.
