ti (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, October 31. The Post and Telegraph. Conference is still in session. Most time has been given to consideration of the causes of dissatisfaction in the service. The following resolution was passed:—"That this conference is of opinion that officers receiving less than £4 per week are not getting a living wage, and considers the time has arrived when tho basis of a living wage should bo established by Parliament, which shall be tho minimum for male workers who have completed their training. Thereafter increases should be made in accordance with the worker's skill or workmanship, which will adequately fix his higher value. Further, there should be no limit to the wago of any worker, provided he gives an adequate return."
