SUNDAY CONCERT IN QUEEN'S THEATRE.
la connexion with the Navy League War Fund appeal, a concert will be given in the Queen's Theatre on Sun- j aay evening by the Queen's Theatre orchestra, assisted by a number of wellknown local entertainers. The orchestra, consisting of Mrs Middleton, Miss Cadenhead, Mr G. Ellwood, and Mr A. W. Hutfcon, will play a selection from. "Carmen," Dvorak-Kreisler's "Slavonic Fantasie," and Jcvo Hubay's 'Hezre Kati." Mr J. H. Coek6 will sing "Lead, Kindly Light" and "Les Rameaux," the latter with violin obligato, by Mr R. L. Claike. Miss > Olive Thoroe will contribute Mascheroni's "Ave Maria," with obligato by Miss Cadenhead and "The Rosary." Mr Harold Beck and Mr A. Hutton will play a 'cello sclo and a piccolo solo respectively, and a piano solo will be given by Mrs Harry Ellwood. Mr H. MoD. Vincent will contribute a recitation, and Mr Arthur Mac Donald will sing' "The Good Ship." The whole of the takings.will go to the Navy League Fund.
A Wellington exchange reports that Mr E. G. F. Zohrab, manager of the Chatham Islands Fishing Company, has made arrangements for the charter of Richardson aid Company's steamer Ruru, which has been fixed to k«ve Wellington to-day for W'ailangi, Whangaroa, Kaingaroa, Owenga, and Pitt Island with oargo.
