When the Czechoslovaks took Kazan J in August they captured the Bolsheviks' ; State treasure of £65,000,000 in gold aud coin. The money has reached Omsk and boon placed at the disposal of the Siberian Government. It is likely to prove a powerful factor in. stabilising the country. ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S DAY FOR PETROGRAD. (Australian and N.Z. Cabl© Association.) (Received October 31st, 8.55 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 30. The "New York Times" Copenhagen correspondent states that Copenhagen despatches from Petrograd say that the Bolosheviks declare that November 10th will be St. Bartholomew's Day, ■when the bourgeoisie and intellectuals will all be murdered. An incredible panic reigns. COPENHAGEN, October 30. A Petrograd message states that the Government has arranged a St. Bartholomew's night for November 10th, when the aristocrats and intellectuals will be murdered. There is an indescribable panic in the city.
